Steven Harrison

Steven Harrison was born in Philadelphia, PA to Raymond and Mary Harrison and is the 3rd youngest of four children. Steven's parents were missionaries at Carver Foreign Missions, which is based in Atlanta, GA. The Harrison family had the opportunity to travel to Liberia, West Africa, where they ministered at Carver Foreign Missions grade school in King Gray Village.

His brother Raymond Jr. introduced Steven to music. Raymond played guitar and also wrote most of the songs that were used as the Harrison family traveled throughout the Midwestern and Eastern part of the United States.

Most of Steven's music experience came when his family moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1977. Steven expanded on his talent by participating in shows and school plays at Riverside Drive Elementary, Milliken Jr. High, and Grant Senior High School. During his high school years, Steven had the opportunity to produce many shows which included vocal performance, costume designer, set designer, and choreographer.

Steven's singing and artistic abilities increased tremendously as he dedicated and submitted himself to the Lord Jesus Christ. Many doors opened because of his obedience and commitment which allowed him to perform at various functions at Ebony Showcase Theater, The Hollywood Palladium, Victory Outreach services, Church on the Way, Mountain Zion Baptist Church, West Angeles Church of Christ, The Alive Church, and various celebrity functions and weddings. Steven wrote and co-produced his first, self-titled CD. His music has played on the radio in Canada and many parts of the US. If interested, view and enter "Steven Harrison" in the artist selection.
